The early-stage plans for a Centre for Advanced Knowledge Engineering in Downham Market have now been unveiled.

The educational campus will be a ‘world class facility of global importance’, being the first of its kind in the whole of Europe.

Aventa Development Managing Director John Beer presented the plans: “There is still a long way to go before we have the campus built but today is all about making progress towards our vision and to demonstrate the amount of support we have from the local community to get this up and running as soon as we can. Big Data and Knowledge Engineering are going to be very important to the UK and global economies and the UK has already established itself as a world leader.”

The two-site campus is designed around an economic hub to encourage interaction between learning, research and business.
